I am a retired health professional and experienced sailor living aboard my
new catamaran. I love most water sports. I windsurf, scuba, snorkel, free dive
and row.
I am seeking a non-smoking companion, preferably with sailing
experience, to go cruising with.
I am currently on the St. John's River, Jacksonville, Florida getting my catamaran ready for cruising.
"Aldora" is an Outremer 45, built in France in 2001. She is both speedy and comfortable with a large cockpit and
plenty of accommodations below decks.
The bridge deck cabin has a large opening table with an
L-shaped settee which can seat eight. The navigation table is to port, forward.
Aft is the fully equipped galley which is situated both sides of the
companionway door. There is a 360-degree view from this cabin.
In the port hull there is a large aft cabin with a double berth,
two smaller berths and a hanging locker. Going forward there is a large single
berth. Continuing forward a small head. Forward of that the forward cabin has a
convertible small double berth when needed.
In the starboard hull aft is a very large heads with shower and
washing tub. Going forward is a hanging locker, then my mid double berth. Forward is
another hanging locker and a convertible small double identical to the portside cabin.
The cockpit is spacious, with a table that folds into the
cockpit sole.
